The Horseshoe Faithful have spoken again!

This time, I wanted to make it a little bit different, and more of ‘just for fun’ survey questions, but two answers I was hoping to find this week were.

As it relates to newly projected Colts starters, which right now are safety Hunter Wohler, Jalen Travis, and Akeem Davis-Gaither, etc., who among them would break out?

Well, 37% of Colts fans believe that Wohler will be the winner here.

The 2025 7th round pick really impressed as a rookie during last year’s training camp and preseason, but unfortunately, was lost to a season-ending Lisfranc injury in preseason. The Colts felt confident enough in Wohler though to let starter Nick Cross walk in free agency, without arguably much resistance.

The Colts did add some safety depth in free agency earlier this offseason, but right now, it still appears as though it’s Wohler’s job to lose barring an unforeseen meaningful move.

If I could’ve redone this poll, I would’ve placed 2nd-year cornerback Justin Walley here, instead of Davis-Gaither, in light of Kenny Moore II and the Colts likely mutually parting ways soon via trade. Should Moore II be traded, Walley looks like the next man up at starting slot cornerback. But alas…

There used to be past glory days, where this was an easy question. It would be Peyton Manning, and then after him, Andrew Luck (i.e., the team’s franchise quarterback). Now, I thought this question was far from certain.

Both Colts star running back Jonathan Taylor (34%) and offensive guard Quenton Nelson (33%) were neck-and-neck here, but Indianapolis’ lead workhorse slightly bested ‘Big Q’ here—following his big year.
