The names Young and Fitzpatrick are beginning to look awfully familiar atop PGA Tour leaderboards.
Cameron Young and Matt Fitzpatrick have combined for five tour titles already this season.
Heading into the final round of the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow on Sunday, May 10, both names are at or near the top of the standings again.

This time, though, Matt’s brother, Alex Fitzpatrick, is representing the family name. He leads the tournament by one shot over Kristoffer Reitan and two shots over Young.
It just so happens Young and Alex Fitzpatrick were college teammates at Wake Forest. The PGA Tour shared their thoughts on the matchup on X.
Together for one season
Alex Fitzpatrick joined the Wake Forest Demon Deacons as a freshman in 2018-19, which was Young’s senior season.
Looking back, Young said Fitzpatrick was too good a player to put through the usual freshman hazing rituals. Fitzpatrick soon joined Young in the starting lineup.

“I have nothing but good things to say about Cam,” the 27-year-old Fitzpatrick said. “He kind of really looked after me.”
Young, 29, texted Fitzpatrick congratulations after he and Matt won the Zurich Classic, a team event. The April 26 victory earned Alex Fitzpatrick his PGA Tour card. He is wasting no time putting it to use.
“He sent me a nice text. I didn’t think he was thinking he would see me in the next two weeks,” Fitzpatrick said.
Young, who shot a 63 on Saturday to move into title contention, won the Cadillac Championship by six shots on May 3 for his third career PGA win. He also won The Players Championship this season and is ranked No. 3 in the world. Young tied for third at the Masters, two shots behind champion Rory McIlroy.

Alex Fitzpatrick claimed his first career victory on the DP World Tour, formerly the European PGA, in March at the Indian Hero Open.
Though 16 holes of the final round, Matt Fitzpatrick was tied for 51st at even par for the tournament.
The final round of the Truist Championship will be on CBS and ESPN+ beginning at 3 p.m. ET Sunday.
