Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson met the media earlier today before their joint practice with the Tennessee Titans, and he provided a few injury updates.
Defensive end Austin Booker has missed the last few days, and per Johnson, he’s dealing with a groin issue and is week-to-week.

Defensive tackle Gervon Dexter Sr., who was mentioned in a trade rumor a couple of days ago, tweaked his hamstring that same day and did not travel to Nashville.
Right tackle Darnell Wright, who was back at practice yesterday after leaving on Tuesday, re-aggravated his elbow injury that he suffered last year, but it’s not expected to sideline him. Johnson said he’d practice today.
Defensive end Marcus Davenport, who was signed 10 days ago, hasn’t practiced because he’s been doing training and conditioning work as they ramp him up.
Johnson also asked about players returning from injury, and if you read between the lines, you may have a similar thought that many fans do…
“We have almost the entire roster fighting their tails off to get back out on the field. They do not like missing time. …. They want to be out there with their teammates, and to me, that’s the sign that we’re moving in the right direction.”
We’ll have more from the joint practice later this afternoon.
