The 2026 Bridges Cup begins this week at Trump Turnberry in Scotland, in what will be the mid-amateur match play event’s fourth iteration since its inaugural year in 2022.

The first-class team event was initially established as celebration of competition and camaraderie for accomplished mid-amateur men around the globe, and in keeping with that ideal, this year’s competitors hail from five different continents.

Bridges Cup 2026: Meet the U.S. and International teams

The Bridges Cup’s 24 hand-picked players form two teams — 12 players from the United States and 12 Internationals. The players will compete in five sessions of match play over three days. Like the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup, the first two days are dedicated to team foursomes and four-ball matches while the third day is devoted to singles.

In addition to three days of epic golf at Trump Turnberry’s King Robert the Bruce and Ailsa courses, this year’s competitors will also be gifted with some envy-inducing swag. They’ll be outfitted in more than a dozen complementary pieces of Holderness & Bourne apparel, use bags and rain gear from Sun Mountain and sport headcovers from Dormie Workshop.
