LIV Golf’s future is also in limbo, as speculation continues to swirl around the golf organization’s future.

Bryson DeChambeau’s future with LIV Golf has become one of the biggest questions in professional golf following this cryptic social media post and uncertainty starting to grow around LIV Golf. DeChambeau’s LIV contract has expired after the 2026 season, while the Saudi Public Investment Fund has withdrawn its financial backing; LIV is searching for new investment to continue beyond this year, and it’s unclear if they will find the cash for it.

NYPOST.com writer Grant Young provided this insight on why LIV Golf could be coming to an end, and one key indicator:
“The most recent indication of LIV Golf’s impending peril arrived when the league announced last week that its team championship event, slated for the end of August in Michigan, was canceled. This made it so the tournament at The Club at Chatham Hills in Indianapolis this past weekend crowned LIV’s individual and team champs.”
It’s pretty easy for DeChambeau to say it was a good run, as the 2X Major Championship Winner earned nearly $180 million through LIV Golf.
He earned over $15 million in 2026 and signed a massive $100+ million signing bonus in 2022, which kickstarted the whole LIV wave.
