Bruno Conti has tied his life to Roma. After defending the Giallorossi colors on the pitch, he continued to work for the Roman club after hanging up his boots.

The Nettuno native retired from football in 1991, and in 1994, after being appointed youth coach, he became head of the Giallorossi youth academy.

In 2005, the former Roma number 7 agreed to coach the first team on an interim basis, leading them to the Coppa Italia final and securing their qualification for the UEFA Cup.

After this brief stint, he became the Rome club’s youth academy coordinator, a position he has held to this day.

His contract with the Giallorossi expires on June 30th, and—as reported by Piero Torri on Radio Manà Manà—he will then say goodbye to Trigoria for good.

Under his management, the Giallorossi youth system has generated sales worth approximately €300-400 million in total.

While his managerial career was successful, the former number 7 has had an even more glorious career in football, and now a beautiful love story is set to have a happy ending.
