The Pittsburgh Steelers traded former first-round pick Broderick Jones to the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday. This came off the heels of the Georgia product playing deep into preseason games as he worked his way back from a neck injury and missed the entirety of spring workouts.
It also came after the Steelers declined to pick up his fifth-year option and drafted his replacement in the form of Max Iheanachor. Once that sequence of actions happened, Jones’ days in Pittsburgh were numbered.
