NASCAR will go to Bristol for a tripleheader weekend from April 9 to 11, before returning to the venue from August 12 to 14. Bristol wanted an August date back with no more elimination drama in the Chase moving forward. This will help the track as college football rivals NASCAR during the Chase.

Overall, this is a positive change for Bristol and NASCAR. This will allow both sides to find the best date moving forward.
