Ben Whittaker takes another step toward a world title Saturday when he faces Conor Wallace in a light heavyweight showdown at Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England.

Whittaker (12-0-1, 9 KOs), a 2020 Olympic silver medalist, returns home after scoring a highlight-reel second-round knockout of Richard Rivera this past June in Brooklyn. The 29-year-old has won three straight fights by knockout since his controversial first meeting with Liam Cameron ended in a technical draw in October 2024.

Saturday represents arguably the biggest test yet for Whittaker, who is ranked No. 3 by the IBF. Whittaker and Wallace meet in a final eliminator for the IBF light heavyweight title, which is currently held by unified champion Dmitry Bivol.

Wallace (17-1, 12 KOs) enters as the IBF’s No. 2-ranked light heavyweight and rides a 10-fight win streak into his first professional appearance outside of Australia. The 30-year-old southpaw’s only career loss came via majority decision against Leti Leti in 2021, a result he avenged 19 months later.
