One of FC Barcelona’s key issues in the final days of the transfer window is Marc Casadó’s departure.
The midfielder has known his situation for months and, together with his agent Jorge Mendes, has been studying the different possibilities for continuing his career away from Barcelona.

Decision delayed
Now, according to SPORT, a final decision over Casado’s future will be made in the closing stages of the transfer window as the midfielder continues to assess his options.
Numerous clubs have contacted the La Masia star’s representatives to ask about the conditions of a potential deal.
The Spaniard would prefer to remain at Barcelona, but the overcrowding in midfield has made it increasingly difficult for him to secure the playing time he wants.

There is no shortage of interest as Casado is seen as one of Barcelona’s most attractive players on the outgoing market. His age and performances have made him an appealing option for several clubs monitoring his situation.

The club value him at around €40 million, although they could accept a somewhat lower fee.
The Saudi Arabian market has gone through periods of gaining momentum and then cooling off in recent weeks.
It remains an option for the academy ace, but it is far from the only one. England and Turkey are among the markets pushing hardest for Casado, while the player continues to assess which project suits him best.
Waiting for the right move
Barcelona had hoped to resolve Casado’s future sooner. The club also communicated that preference to Jorge Mendes, who has remained in regular contact with the sporting department throughout the window.

However, Casado and his agent believe it’s worth waiting a few more days before making the final decision.
The final days of a transfer window often produce opportunities created by unexpected moves or clubs facing last-minute needs.
Casado already has offers on the table, but wants to understand all his options before choosing his next destination.
For that reason, everything points towards his departure being resolved almost at the last possible moment. A decision is expected between Sunday and Monday.
Barcelona have asked Mendes to keep them informed about developments, but understand that the final choice belongs to the player.
