Now that the FIFA international window has ended, the UEFA Champions League league phase is set to begin. PSG are opening their title defense on September 17 against Atalanta, with the early marquee matchup coming on October 1 when they face FC Barcelona.

It’s not a final, but fans will finally get to see PSG take on Barcelona. Additionally, the Spanish side reportedly received some good news ahead of the game.

“However, I’m hearing that for the match against Real Sociedad, they’ll return to Camp Nou with 27,000 fans. There have already been many inquiries today, and it’s been confirmed that UEFA is aware Barcelona will play their Champions League matches at Camp Nou.”

There’s no doubt that Barcelona want to face PSG at their newly renovated stadium to draw in a bigger crowd for this big-time European match. Still, seeing if they have all the optics ready for this clash will be interesting.
