Snitker was hired as interim manager early in the 2016 season and the team soon began to trend upward. Over his first three full seasons the Braves’ win total improved and the franchise would reach 100 wins 2022 and 2023 after capturing the 2021 World Series title.

During Snitker’s run he was a four-time NL Manager of the Year finalist and winner of the award in 2018. The Braves would make the playoffs seven times and win six consecutive NL East titles.

Snitker ends his time as Braves manager with a record of 811-668, good for the third-most victories in franchise history. In all of MLB, only Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has won more since Snitker was brought to replace Fredi González.
