Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa had seemed to be on the verge of a Napoli exit, but there are now reports he could even sign a new contract.
The midfielder had been heavily linked with numerous options this summer, including Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Al-Qadsiah.
His current contract runs to June 30, but there is an option to extend to 2027, so Napoli would still be making a profit on his sale.
Anguissa open to Napoli stay

According to Il Mattino via Tuttomercatoweb, the quality of the proposals and the changes in the current Napoli squad have made both parties reconsider.
Not only is Anguissa now ready to remain, but the Partenopei are also prepared to offer him a new and improved contract.
He will go from the current €2.5m per season net to over €3m plus bonuses.
It is because the Cameroon international was such a key part of both Scudetto campaigns over the last three years.
Anguissa even started scoring more goals recently, bagging six with five assists in 35 Serie A appearances this term.
