Nelly Korda leads The Chevron Championship by five shots with just one round left to play.
Korda has been in imperious form this week at The Chevron, firing rounds of 65, 65 and 70 to lead Patty Tavatanakit by five strokes after three rounds.

However, the job is far from done. The 27-year-old American knows full well just how hard it is to win major championships.
Korda has won The Chevron Championship before, back in 2024. That was her second major win after she triumphed at the Women’s PGA Championship in 2021.

Nelly Korda’s putting has been red-hot at The Chevron, and she has been striking the ball exceptionally well too.
She will be confident in her chances of securing her third major championship title but strangely, golf fans will not be able to watch her in action until she’s more than halfway through her front nine.

Surprisingly, the players will go out in threesomes during the final round of The Chevron Championship on Sunday.

However, that’s not the worst thing.
According to Beth Ann Nichols from Golfweek, broadcasting will not begin until 1:30pm ET, despite the fact that the final group are teeing off at 12:08pm ET.
That means golf fans will miss the first one hour and 22 minutes of Nelly Korda’s final round, and they are not at all happy about that.
“And the LPGA wonders why people don’t follow their sport. SMH,“ one X user said.
While another labelled the broadcaster’s decision as ‘disastrous’: “This is completely unacceptable in 2026. A DISASTER for how much we have to pay to watch sports. We the fans should never miss anything!“
And the comments kept coming, with fans stating, “Why are they going off in threesomes at noon? There is no weather in the forecast. Nobody is less interested in showing LPGA golf than the LPGA,“ and, “Ridiculous as Peacock should be able to stream it easily.“

Other comments included one fan saying, “What is going on at the Chevron,“ and, “What a disgrace this is.“

Meanwhile, one golf fan came up with a very interesting solution, saying: “All tournaments need to change distribution of their content. TV networks are awful at it. We have the capability to make it easily available. Don’t have to go full blown Masters App, but it could be done.“
“For a Major championship in 2026 this is absolutely terrible imo,“ one fan fumed, while another took a cheeky swipe at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, “But let’s watch a team event with very little star power. Women’s golf is real and impressive and should be given the opportunity to shine.“

It really is a disgrace that in the year 2026, we as golf fans are unable to watch the entirety of the final round of a major championship.
Nelly Korda is a huge draw and the fact that she’s in the final group, and leading the tournament, would surely have attracted a huge television audience.
The television broadcasters clearly don’t think so, and that is an incredibly poor decision from them.
