South Africa’s “Stillknocks” relieved Strickland of the middleweight crown when they met at UFC 297, before defending the title against long-reigning champion Israel Adesanya.
Since his loss to du Plessis, Strickland claimed victory over Paulo Costa to keep his name in the frame for a title rematch.

In the chief support, Zhang Weili (25-2) puts her strawweight title on the line against the undefeated Tatiana Suarez (11-0).
