The UFC returns to Australia for UFC 312, which will feature two massive title fights.
The main event will see Dricus du Plessis defend the UFC middleweight title in a rematch against former champion Sean Strickland. The co-main event will be Zhang Weili defending the UFC strawweight title against top contender Tatiana Suarez.

UFC 312 will be in the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia on February 8. The early prelims start at 6 p.m. ET, while the prelims are at 8 p.m. ET. The main card starts at 10 p.m. ET, and Dricus du Plessis and Sean Strickland should make their way to the octagon around 12:30 a.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.
Headlining the UFC 312 prelims will be Jack Jenkins vs. Gabriel Santos.
A standout on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022, Jenkins (13-3) won two straight in the octagon before suffering an arm injury in September 2023 against Jose Mariscal. The Aussie returned in August and beat Herbert Burns via retirement. Jenkins looks for a ranked number next to his name with a win.
Santos (11-2) lost his first two UFC fights following a run in LFA. The Brazilian earned his first octagon win in September against Yi Zha.

Brisbane’s Tom Nolan (8-1) is on a two-fight win streak. The DWCS alum, with five wins via knockout, faces Viacheslav Borshchev (8-4), who is 1-1-1 in his last three fights.
Wang Cong faces Bruna Brasil. Wang (6-1) is a multi-time Sanda medalist who was a standout on season three of Road to UFC. She has gone 1-1 since her debut fight. Brasil (10-4) is a DWCS standout that has gone 2-2 in the octagon since her debut on the program. “The Special One” beat Molly McCann in her last fight in July.
Finally, Colby Thicknesse faces Aleksandre Topuria. Born in Windang, Thicknesse (7-0) won the 2020 Oceania Open Championships. He makes his UFC debut after winning four fights in 2024, with three straight ending in the first round.
Topuria (5-1) is the brother of UFC champion Ilia Topuria. He’s on a three-fight win streak heading into his UFC debut.
