Aspiring golfers from across Borderland got to learn the fundamentals of the game during The River Golf Course Junior Program.
Taking place over three days during the week, some volunteers along with members of the Falls High School boy’s and girl’s golf teams instructed the young golfers on things like putting, driving, and chip shots.
Heading the program was the club’s Professional Golfers Association (PGA) professional Tom O’Connell, who said it was great to see so many young people who wanted to learn the sport of golf.
This was the second of three junior camps taking place over the summer, with the third taking place July 16, 17 and 18.
