Super Bowl commercial spoiler alert.

NASCAR driver and Lee County resident Ross Chastain will appear in the Busch Light ad during the NFL’s biggest game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles Sunday. Busch Light serves as the official beer of NASCAR and the primary sponsor for Chastain, who lives in Alva, and his No. 1 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet.

The beverage brand revealed the commercial Wednesday. The spot is appropriately titled “Circles.”

It features two lost hikers in the woods. They look at a map as “Busch Guy” appears.

“To avoid going in circles, make note of recognizable landmarks — like that,” Busch Guy says before pointing to Chastain’s car, with a camping tent on top, sitting among the trees.

Chastain unzips the tent and pops his head out.

“What’s wrong with going in circles?” he asks.

“Different circles, Ross,” Busch Guy responds.

“OK,” Chastain says before retreating back into his tent.

The commercial spans 15 seconds. It is one of two Busch Light advertisements set for Super Bowl Sunday. The game will air at 6:30 p.m. on Fox.

“I used to daydream about seeing my race schedule hung up at my local bar in Busch Light’s famous blues and whites,” Chastain said in a press release. “Now I’m not only on those walls, but in a commercial that will air in my hometown during the big game and across the nation this NASCAR season, starting with the Daytona 500!

“I’ve manifested this moment my entire life, and I can’t thank Busch Light enough for supporting my racing career through their massive platform. It’s a dream come true — and so was cracking open a cold Busch Light with the iconic Busch Guy after a long, fun day filming in the woods.”

One week after the Super Bowl, Chastain will kick off NASCAR’s regular season and race in the 2025 Daytona 500.

More about Ross Chastain

From the NASCAR website:

Ross Chastain now enters his fifth year driving the No. 1 Chevrolet for Trackhouse Racing. Chastain collected his first, and the organization’s first, win at Circuit of The Americas in 2022. He followed that up four weeks later with a win at Talladega Superspeedway. In the penultimate race of 2022 at Martinsville, Chastain pulled off a miracle move to reach the Championship 4, coming up short to Joey Logano at Phoenix.

His most recent win came at Kansas Speedway in September 2024. In 2021, he drove the No. 42 for Chip Ganassi Racing before the team was sold and rebranded as Trackhouse. He previously drove the No. 10 Kaulig Racing machine in the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series.

In 2019, he shifted gears midseason to run for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship with Niece Motorsports and won three races. Continuing in a part-time role with the team, he picked up his fifth series win in 2024 at Darlington Raceway. He has also earned two NASCAR Xfinity Series wins, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2018 and Daytona International Speedway in 2019.
