The Carolina Hurricanes have assigned defenseman Riley Stillman to the Chicago Wolves, it was announced Wednesday.
Stillman, who is in his first season with the Hurricanes organization, has appeared in four games for the Wolves this year, collecting an assist.
Drafted by the Florida Panthers in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft, Stillman has appeared in 158 career NHL regular season games over parts of five seasons, collecting four goals and 26 points.
Having last played in an NHL game during the 2022-23 season, Stillman still has the skill to serve in a depth role for an NHL team. Although down in the AHL again, Stillman will have the opportunity to play big minutes for Chicago until he gets recalled again.
