Conor McGregor first took aim at former UFC colleague Mike Perry in July 2024 after Perry lost a boxing match against everyone’s least favorite person, Jake Paul.
The YouTube star-turned boxer stopped Perry in the sixth round with punches, in part because of his significant size advantage, leading to McGregor posting a tweet telling Mike he’s fired, as well as other insults.
Despite the fact that Perry said, “He can’t fire me, we’re both part owners,” he has not fought for the bare knuckle boxing promotion since April.
He revealed to Ariel Helwani on Tuesday that he has three fights left on his contract and would like to fight them in 2025, but has heard nothing from boss Dave Feldman.

He did call McGregor’s firing of him “just a funny joke,” adding that Conor wants to make money and “you need me in Bare Knuckle [FC] if you want to make a splash.”
Clearly, Perry thinks that the whole thing will blow over, but having heard nothing from his promotion is odd, as is the fact he even has to say anything publicly about wanting to fight out his contract.
The Dirty Boxing Championship that McGregor referenced is a small gloves boxing promotion started by Perry and the Karate Combat founder, which debuted this past weekend with Yoel Romero headlining.
At the moment, however, Conor has other things to worry about after being found liable for damages stemming from his sexual assault of a woman in Ireland in 2018.
