Jake Paul can now say he beat Mike Tyson, as the YouTuber took it to the 58-year-old Hall of Fame fighter, competing in his first pro fight since 2005.
In February of last year, Paul suffered a points defeat to Tommy Fury – the first professional boxer he’d faced – and has since gone on a five-fight win streak. This event was on a whole different level, as he faced Tyson, a former undisputed champion with 44 wins via knockout.
The 27-year-old Paul looked much looser than Tyson, who couldn’t move his neck, and his legs seemed worse for wear. He even sported a leg brace.
Tyson had an ulcer flare-up that delayed the original July 20 date. Yet while that didn’t affect him, Father Time did. Paul landed 78 of 278 shots (28%), compared to Tyson’s 18 of 97 (18%).
Here’s a breakdown of the Paul vs. Tyson fight and card.
