The fighters are weighed in and ready for action at UFC 309 after the 26 fighters set for action took to the scale at the official weigh-ins in New York City.

All 26 fighters weighed in for their respective bouts, with only one competitor failing to hit their contracted weight for the huge pay-per-view event at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

Main eventers on weight for UFC 309 title clash

The main event will see Jon Jones take on Stipe Miocic for the undisputed UFC heavyweight title, and both men came in comfortably inside the maximum heavyweight limit for their title bout.

Miocic weighed in at 248.6 pounds for the matchup, the heaviest he’s ever weighed for a UFC fight, but still looked in prime shape for his first UFC bout since March 2021.

Jones arrived on the scale much later in the session, and tipped the scale at 237.5 pounds, some 10.5 pounds lighter than he weighed for his title-winning performance against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285.

UFC 309 main card: Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler on weight, but James Llontop comes in heavy

The co-main event saw both Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler register identical weights as they hit the scale at 155.6 pounds for their non-title fight. The middleweight matchup between Bo Nickal (185.4) and Paul Craig (186) was also locked in.

Women’s flyweight contenders Viviane Araujo and Karine Slva both arrived nicely inside the 126-pound limit for their main card meeting, but there was a weight miss for the main card opener, as James Llontop came in 1.2 pounds over the 165-pound catchweight limit for his bout with Mauricio Ruffy. Llontop was fined 20 percent of his fight purse, but the bout will remain on the card.

13-fight card confirmed for UFC 309 in New York

UFC 309 also features an eight-fight preliminary card lineup, and all 16 fighters on the undercard hit their contracted weights.

New York’s former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman hit the 186-pound limit for his bout against fellow UFC veteran Eryk Anders, while record-breaking UFC stalwart Jim Miller had no problem making weight for his lightweight bout against fellow vet Damon Jackson.

Miller will extend his all-time UFC appearance record when he competes in his 45th career UFC fight on Saturday night.

With no reported withdrawals, it means that the official fight card for Saturday night will feature 13 fights.
