An authentic boxing legend in Mike Tyson returns to the ring to face one of the top influencers in the world in Jake Paul. The eight-round heavyweight bout, which takes place on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium, will be Tyson’s first pro fight since 2005.
The event will air on Netflix, a first for the streaming service. Entering the sports world, Netflix will soon be the home of WWE’s Monday Night Raw. However, first, it dips its toes in boxing for a fight that has a very pro-wrestling feel.
Paul has competed against MMA fighters, former NBA stars, and celebrity boxers. Meanwhile, Tyson returned briefly for an exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr in 2020. It’s an old-school vs. new-school fight, with new eyes guaranteed to tune in.

Who will commentate Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson on Netflix?
Mauro Ranallo
Calling the ringside play-by-play will be Mauro Ranallo. One of the most recognizable names in combat sports, Ranallo was one of the lead voices of Pride FC.
Over the years, he has provided commentary for WWE, Showtime Boxing, Bellator, and more. He also called the action for Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor.
Born in British Columbia, Ranallo graduated from W. J. Mouat Secondary School and started his announcing career at 16 for All-Star Wrestling. The 53-year-old currently provides commentary for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, Glory, and more.
Ranallo is known for celebrating critical moments with various wordplay, including his infamous “Mamma Mia,” which wrestling fans have turned into a chant.
Roy Jones Jr.
A former four-division world champion and Hall of Famer, Roy Jones Jr. will provide ringside analysis.
A 1988 silver medalist at the Seoul Olympics, Jones won gold at middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight. Supremely gifted and unorthodox, Jones beat the likes of Bernard Hopkins, James Toney, Virgil Hill, and Antonio Tarver.

Rosie Perez
Rounding the booth will be actress Rosie Perez, known as “The First Lady of Boxing.”
The Academy Award-winning actress is an avid boxing fan, providing commentary on fights on social media while attending events.
Perez was a grand marshal for the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2013 and has provided analysis on camera for fights like Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennadiy Golovkin.
Andre Ward
Former two-time world champion Andre Ward will be the lead booth analyst.
The last male to win a U.S. Olympic gold (2004), Ward is a Hall of Famer who once sat atop boxing’s pound-for-pound list. The California native beat the likes of Mikel Kessler, Chad Dawson, Carl Froch and Sergey Kovalev, ending his career in 2017 with an unblemished record of 32-0.
Outside of fighting, Ward has provided commentary for ESPN and starred in the Creed movies.

Amir Tyson
Calling the prelim action will be Amir Tyson, the son of “Iron Mike.”
Born in 1997, Amir is the son of Tyson and his second wife, Monica Turner. He graduated from American University with a B.A. in broadcast journalism. Amir has called a few boxing fights before and even appeared in a Super Bowl half-time commercial with his dad in 2016.
Outside of providing commentary, Amir founded his own clothing brand, Debonair Attire.
Kate Scott
Kate Scott will serve as the main host.
Scott (formerly Abdo) is a CBS Sports soccer host and has appeared on several DAZN boxing shows. The British broadcaster has worked with CNN, Sky Sports, Fox Sports, and Premier Boxing Champions.
Scott is one of CBS’s top commentators for the UEFA Champions League.
Ariel Helwani
One of the most famous journalists in combat sports today, Ariel Helwani will serve as a fight night reporter.
Helwani graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. The Canadian has covered all aspects of combat sports for various organizations, from HBO Sports, MMA Fighting, FS1’s UFC Tonight, and ESPN, to his most recent venture, forming The Uncrowned with Yahoo. His feud with UFC CEO Dana White is legendary.

A multi-time World MMA Awards MMA Journalist of the Year, the host of The Ariel Helwani Show has become a presenter for boxing events, including several Paul fights.
Sibley Scoles
Joining Helwani as a reporter and calling prelim action will be Sibley Scoles.
Scoles is an Emmy winner who hosts Raiders: Talk of the Nation while serving as the in-game host for the Las Vegas Raiders. She hosts the House Call podcast along with Wade Plemons and TJ Ward.
Kody Mommaerts
In-ring announcing duties will be provided by Kody Mommaerts.
“Big Mo” is the ring announcer for BOXXER and BYB Extreme Fighting Series. A former college football player, Mommaerts started as a commentator before transitioning to ring announcing.
