What started as one of the wildest post-race scenes of the NASCAR season now has serious consequences.
NASCAR handed down a sweeping round of penalties following Saturday night’s ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway, including indefinite suspensions for Chad Bryant Racing team owner Chad Bryant and team member Steven Civatarese.

Bryant was also fined $2,000, suspended from the 2027 ValleyStar Credit Union 300 and placed on NASCAR probation for one year. NASCAR is additionally requiring Bryant to complete anger management training through an approved program.
