NASCAR issued multiple penalties after several Chad Bryant Racing team members physically attacked reigning Craftsman Truck Series champion Corey Heim in the pit area following Saturday night’s ValleyStar Credit Union 300 late model race at Martinsville Speedway. The altercation came after Heim and Bryant Racing driver Treyten Lapcevich crashed in Turn 1 just after the checkered flag, capping a heated late-race battle between the two for the runner-up position.
