Cardiff City have added another international in their ranks after Joel Bagan won his first cap on the same night Bluebirds team-mate Jack Moyaln shone for the Republic of Ireland.
Full-back Bagan had won eight caps for Ireland’s Under-21s but, despite becoming a Championship regular in south Wales, had yet to break into senior international football.

Injury ended hopes of that happening in the summer when he had to pull out of Heimir Hallgrimsson’s squad following his first call-up.
But after being included for this batch of Nations League games, the 25-year-old made his bow for the Boys in Green as he came on as a late substitute in the 3-0 win over Israel in Debrecen.
The game had been played amid contentious circumstances, but was won comfortably via three first-half goals, one of which coming from summer signing Moylan.
Moylan – who has scored three times for Cardiff since his arrival from Lincoln City – now has four goals in four appearances for Ireland.

The midfielder also provided Swansea City striker Adam Idah for a goal in their first win of their Nations League B group.
Bagan and Moylan now face games against Austria and Israel again before returning to Cardiff for Championship duty.
With Dylan Lawlor, Rubin Colwill and Isaak Davies unavailable for Wales through injury, Brian Barry-Murphy has two other first-team members on international duty with Cian Ashford and Joel Colwill away with Craig Bellamy’s side.
However, neither has been involved in the two defeats so far ahead of games with Norway and Denmark at Cardiff City Stadium.
