The PGA Tour is moving up tee times for the final round of the Biltmore Championship Asheville as the threat of thunderstorms linger over western North Carolina.
The first tee times for the final round on Sept. 20 will be between 7:43 a.m. ET and 9:55 am ET, the PGA Tour announced in a news release on Sept. 19. Parking lot shuttles for spectators will begin to run at 6:15 a.m. and entry gates to the Cliffs at Walnut Cover will open at 7 a.m.

The current forecast calls for a 40% chance of thunderstorms in Asheville beginning at 2 p.m. ET on Sept. 20. The chance of thunderstorms increases to 60% by 4 p.m. ET.

“Fans should be aware that conditions on the property may be wet,” The PGA Tour said. “All fans should dress accordingly and use caution in areas where water has accumulated, as well as mounding and hills, which might be slippery.”
Real time updates will be provided via the Biltmore Championship’s social media accounts on X, Instagram and Facebook.
Weather has now adjusted schedules for three of four days at the Biltmore Championship Asheville. The first round started a half an hour later than originally scheduled due to fog and the start of second round play was move dup by an hour to avoid thunderstorms in the afternoon.
