Two interim title fights headline a fight card in California Saturday as fan-favorite Isaac Cruz defends the interim WBC super lightweight title against Nestor Bravo.
A former WBA champion, Cruz (28-3-2) hasn’t lost a fight since 2024. He’s 2-0-1 in his last three fights, with a bout against Lamont Roach called a draw. Cruz is ready to unify the division.
Bravo (24-1) is 3-1 in his last four fights. He took out Pedro Campa in January to earn a shot at gold.
Meanwhile, the co-main event will see Jesus Ramos Jr. defend the interim WBC middleweight title against Meiirim Nursultanov.

Cruz vs. Bravo prediction and best bet
Isaac Cruz is one of the most dynamic strikers in boxing. Can he overwhelm his opponent with his volume shots?
When Cruz faced Rolando Romero in 2024, he landed 129 of 354 strikes (36.4%), with 31 in round seven. Against Angel Fierro, Cruz landed 248 strikes, with 42 in the first round and 20+ shots in seven rounds. He landed 159 strikes against Lamont Roach, but Roach landed 191 shots, a rare time an opponent outgunned him.
When Cruz is on, he’s an extremely consistent fighter.
Bravo outpointed Jose Gallegos, using body strikes to take control early. He landed 42 body strikes and 165 total shots. The Puerto Rican landed a left hook to drop Pedro Campa in his last fight, showing he has plenty of pop.
Bravo can strike at any moment, but he’s also smart. He knows the right time to move forward. Cruz has improved dramatically since his initial rise to the top, and knows how to be patient. “Pitbull” is also extremely fast. Given the combination of power and speed, he should be able to inflict damage on a game Bravo.

Ramos vs. Nursultanov prediction and best bet
Ramos is one of the most explosive fighters in the division. Three of his last four wins have come via knockout, adding to his 19 wins via the power punch. He also lands for volume.
Against Jeison Rosario, Ramos connected on 45% of his total punches, landing 219. He also landed 30-punch shots in three straight rounds. Out of all those strikes, 55 were jabs. Guido Schramm also succumbed to multiple 30-strike combos. Ramos landed 36.6% of his shots, with his opponent landing 12.4% of his strikes. The interim champion also outworked Shane Mosley Jr.
Nursultanov hasn’t fought since 2023. His last dominant outing was a TKO win against Kazuto Takesako. Still, the man from Kazakhstan is someone not to be taken lightly.
Ramos is the busier boxer and will look to take advantage on fight night. He’s also much more active than Nursultanov has been. Nursultanov could make things interesting, but not for long. Ramos’ left-handed power shots can give him an edge.
