McLaren fans will be concerned after learning of Lando Norris’ injury following the Spanish Grand Prix. Norris appeared fine in Madrid, delivering an excellent performance to finish third.

The British driver probably would have won at the Madring circuit if not for the unfortunate timing of the virtual safety car while he led the race. Unfortunately, Kimi Antonelli’s victory means the championship is likely out of reach.

Norris has now received even more bad news just days after his podium finish at the Spanish GP. He was due to play at the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am alongside many celebrities and Europe’s Ryder Cup stars.

Lando Norris withdraws from DP World Tour event with injury

Lando Norris withdrew from the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am on Wednesday due to a back injury. He certainly would have played with a European Ryder Cup star, potentially fellow McLaren athlete Justin Rose.

Norris explained his disappointing injury news to both DP World Tour winner Eugenio Chacarra and five-time major winner Brooks Koepka. Given how much Norris loves playing golf, he must be gutted to miss the event at Wentworth.
