The Jets are adding a veteran receiver.
Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Sterling Shepard has agreed to join New York’s practice squad.
Shepard, 33, was last with the Texans during training camp.
But he appeared in 13 games for the Buccaneers in 2025, catching 39 passes for 371 yards with one touchdown.
Shepard is plenty used to playing home games at MetLife Stadium, as he spent his first eight seasons with the Giants. He caught 72 passes for 4,095 yards with 23 touchdowns for the club.
