After all, Internacional, Vasco, Mirassol, and Grêmio all have 28 points, but Leão Caipira and Tricolor Gaúcho remain outside the bottom four thanks to a better goal difference (-7 x -11 x -12).

Colorado, even after a 2-1 win over Chapecoense at Arena Condá, remains in third-to-last place because it has fewer wins than the other three rivals in the fight against relegation (6 x 7).

In this scenario, the atmosphere at coach Luís Castro’s post-match press conference after Grêmio’s defeat was tense.

The experienced 65-year-old Portuguese coach argued with journalists in the Arena press room when asked about his work in charge of Tricolor Gaúcho.
