Real American Freestyle heads to Russia, showcasing the top grapplers in the world. The main event features Khamzat Chimaev vs. Tyron Woodley.
Chimaev, a former UFC middleweight champion, is considered MMA’s Boogeyman. When he strikes, the Chechen doesn’t give his opponents a chance to breathe. Woodley is a former UFC welterweight champion. While he no longer competes in MMA, he still has the warrior spirit.
A former dominant cage fighter faces a current rockstar. Who will stand on the mat as the winner?
Also on the card, several top-tier wrestlers and MMA fighters compete. Jordan Burroughs, Kyle Snyder and more will once again get a chance to shine, while Bo Nickal continues competing outside the octagon.

Khamzat Chimaev vs. Tyron Woodley odds
| Fighter | Odds |
| Khamzat Chimaev | -10000 |
| Tyron Woodley | +3000 |
Chimaev vs. Woodley prediction and best bet
When healthy, Khamzat Chimaev is lethal on the floor. In the octagon, he averages 5.32 takedowns landed per 15 minutes. He landed 12 against Dricus Du Plessis and nine against Sean Strickland. A three-time Swedish National Champion, Chimaev pinned Dillon Danis in 44 seconds at RAF 10.
Though Woodley has seen better days, he can still rely on his wrestling. The 2003 Big 12 Championships gold medalist and two-time All-American averaged 1.06 takedowns landed in the octagon and owned an 87% takedown defense. Can Woodley overcome recent setbacks and push Chimaev to the limit?
Chimaev is a monster. While his cardio has been questioned, his wrestling hasn’t. Woodley is attempting to prove doubters wrong, but it’s hard to see Chimaev not earn a dominant win.
Kyle Snyder vs. Akhmed Tazhudinov odds
| Fighter | Odds |
| Kyle Snyder | +100 |
| Akhmed Tazhudinov | -120 |
Snyder vs. Tazhudinov prediction and best bet
Snyder is the current RAF light heavyweight champion. He wasn’t just given that title; he earned it by beating Tazhudinov. The Ohio State alum has defended the RAF title three times. Snyder is the youngest wrestler to win gold at the Olympics, World, and NCAA Championships.
An Olympic gold medalist and a multi-time Asian Championships winner, Tazhudinov has beaten Snyder before. At the 2023 World Wrestling Championships, Tazhudinov won early on in the meet.
These two know one another well. Can Snyder earn another win, or has Tazhudinov learned to adapt to the RAF style of fighting? Snyder has never backed down from a challenge and may be able to squeak by with another win following another tactical battle.
Jordan Burroughs vs. Magomed Kurbanaliev odds
| Fighter | Odds |
| Jordan Burroughs | -6500 |
| Magomed Kurbanaliev | +2000 |
Burroughs vs. Kurbanaliev prediction and best bet
Burroughs is the most decorated wrestler in American history. The Olympic gold medalist and multi-time champion has a freestyle record of over 200 wins. He beat Sean Brady in his RAF debut, earning an 11-0 technical fall after two rounds.
A 2016 World Championships gold medalist, Kurbanaliev last won gold at the 2019 Russian National Championships. The decorated wrestler suffered a knee injury that may affect his mat skills.
Despite his injuries, Kurbanaliev is still a formidable foe. However, Burroughs should be able to smother him with his first-step explosion and ability to master a double-leg takedown. The elite grappler should once again walk out of an RAF event with the win.
Bo Nickal vs. Shirvani Muradov odds
| Fighter | Odds |
| Jordan Burroughs | -700 |
| Magomed Kurbanaliev | +500 |
Nickal vs. Muradov prediction and best bet
A multi-time wrestling champion and a three-time NCAA Division I National Champion, Nickal has transitioned from wrestler to brawler in the UFC. Meanwhile, on the mat, Nickal won the RAF light heavyweight championship last August. He lost to Max McEnelly at RAF 12 via decision (6-0).
Muradov is a 2008 Olympic gold medalist. He has been silent the last few years after numerous injuries forced him to leave his mat days behind.
Muradov can turn back the clock, sharpen his defense, and not allow Nickal the opportunity for a clean finish. That’s what McEnelly did against him. Or age and ring rust will be a factor, and Nickal will use explosive pressure to force Muradov to ride off into the sunset once again. Unless Nickal completely blows it, the latter seems more realistic.
