Scottie Scheffler is so far ahead of his rivals right now it’s scary.
Scheffler won the second FedEx Cup of his career after his triumph at the Tour Championship on Sunday.
The 30-year-old world number one turned an average season into an incredible one with two wins out of his final three events in 2026.

Scheffler actually broke his own PGA Tour record, with his win at the Tour Championship taking him past the $30 million dollar mark in earnings for the season.
He is already one of the greatest golfers to have ever graced the game.
Now all that remains to be seen is how many wins he can actually rack up by the time he retires from playing competitively.
Wayne Riley claims what Scottie Scheffler does is ‘quite a scary looking thing’
Riley was speaking about Scheffler’s brilliance during Sky Sports broadcast of the Tour Championship on Sunday.

He revealed something that Scheffler does during tournament play that is actually quite scary to look at.

“When I am out on the golf course with him, once in a while you might get a hi and we’ll have a chat for a bit,“ he said.
“But most of the time it’s like when I walk by him, I might be 12 paces to his right and it’s like he’s in a zone. It’s quite a scary looking thing when you see someone like that.
“He is so determined and so in the process, but he is phenomenal.“

Riley explained what happened when he sat behind Scheffler on the range at the BMW Championship last week.

“The guy has an amazing head on his shoulders for a golfer. Everything he says, golf doesn’t define me and when I go home I don’t think about golf,“ Riley said.
“I find that amazing. I find it incredible. If that is true, which I have found hard to believe, but it must be true. This guy is just incredible.
“It’s repetitive, it’s somewhat homemade, it’s not elegant, but doesn’t it work?
“I watched him last week on the range and sat behind him for 20 minutes. It was just a flush every time.
“Amazing. He hit 12 drivers to a green down there and every one of them went on the green. It was an amazing performance, he’s such a good player, it is scary stuff really for the rest of them.“
