And Moving Day has arrived. Saturday, Aug. 29, is the third round in Atlanta and there are two names tied at the top: Ryan Gerard and Viktor Hovland. Chris Gotterup and Collin Morikawa are hovering a shot back. Sitting two shots back are Cameron Young, who shot a Friday 62, and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

2026 Tour Championship tee times

The field was re-ordered after 36 holes and due to J.J. Spaun’s withdrawal, the field is 29 so it’s Robert MacIntyre’s turn to play solo. Min Woo Lee played most of Thurday solo and shot 62. Cameron Young played alone Friday and shot 62.

What happened Friday at the Tour Championship?

There was a second-straight 62 and it was once again posted by a guy playing solo. Friday it was Cameron Young’s turn. There was also a ball hit into a pizza stand. No, for real.
