New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. suffered an apparent injury during his team’s preseason Week 3 game against the New York Jets.
The injury occurred as Tracy was tackled at the end of an 8-yard run with just over seven minutes remaining in the second quarter. The 26-year-old lowered his head while trying to power through contact and hit the crown of his helmet hard on the shoulder of Jets safety Jarius Monroe.
Tracy’s neck was seemingly compressed as a result of the hit.
