Let’s say that right now, the Phillies had a high leverage situation in which neither Jonathan Bowlan or Jhoan Duran are available. Both of those pitchers are ones the Phillies want to use in the eighth and ninth innings in games in which they are tied or have a lead, something that has been established in the days since Brad Keller went down for the season.
In this high leverage spot, the team needs a right handed pitcher to get them out of a jam. Which pitcher are you hoping the Phillies go to – Alex McFarlane or Orion Kerkering?

Both of them have good, strikeout stuff that can get outs on their own, not needing a defense to get involved if need be. Both of them have had control issues in their past. We haven’t seen how McFarlane would react in a big spot, but we have seen how Kerkering will pitch when the chips are down. It’s hard to predict how that at bat would end up going, but which would you rather see?
