UFC Sacramento odds and best bets for Aug. 22
The following odds are all courtesy of the DraftKings Sportsbook.
Anthony Hernandez vs. Gregory Rodrigues (Middleweight)
| Fighter | Point spread | Total rounds | Moneyline |
| Anthony Hernandez | -13.5 (-120) | O 3.5 (+165) | -170 |
| Gregory Rodrigues | +13.5 (-110) | U 3.5 (-215) | +142 |
Hernandez vs. Rodrigues prediction
Hernandez lands 4.57 significant strikes per minute and averages 5.88 takedowns landed per 15 minutes. He landed 23 in his last four fights. Rodrigues lands 5.53 significant strikes and averages 1.90 takedowns landed. Both are elite grapplers, with Hernandez, who just had a win streak snapped, known for a high-speed pace. He has also proved he can thrive in the later rounds.
Best bet
Rodrigues should have an edge early, but the longer the fight goes, a Hernandez win is likely. Hernandez might just be able to take Rodrigues down late in the fight.
Serghei Spivac vs. Vitor Petrino (Heavyweight)
| Fighter | Point spread | Total rounds | Moneyline |
| Serghei Spivac | +3.5 (-135) | O 1.5 (-210) | +124 |
| Vitor Petrino | -3.5 (+100) | U 1.5 (+160) | -148 |
Spivac vs. Petrino prediction
Serghei Spivac lands 3.57 significant strikes per minute, and averages 3.82 takedowns landed per 15 minutes. He’s an elite wrestler and grappler. Vitor Petrino lands 3.24 strikes and averages 2.60 takedowns landed. The former takes more damage, absorbing 4.23 strikes. The latter has impressed since the move to heavyweight, winning three straight. This a massive increase in competition for Petrino, which could be good for his growth but could also negate any momentum if he doesn’t have good shot selection.
Best bet
Spivac should overwhelm Petrino late in the fight. While Petrino has impressed, the level of competition both have faced favors a threat like Spivac.

Reinier de Ridder vs. Roman Dolidze (Light Heavyweight)
| Fighter | Point spread | Total rounds | Moneyline |
| Reinier de Ridder | -5.5 (-125) | O 2.5 (-140) | -425 |
| Roman Dolidze | +5.5 (-105) | U 2.5 (+110) | +330 |
de Ridder vs. Dolidze prediction
Dolidze lands 3.19 significant strikes per minute and averages 1.16 takedowns landed per 15 minutes. de Ridder lands 2.47 significant strikes and averages 2.56 takedowns landed. Both are on two-fight losing streaks, and de Ridder, the former ONE middleweight and light heavyweight champion, has moved down in the rankings as a result. He needs to win this fight to stay relevant in the division. Dolidze aims to enter the rankings.
Best bet
de Ridder is one of the most elite grapplers and strikers out there, but down on his luck. A rebound win is entirely possible, though Dolidze won’t be an easy opponent. Expect the fight to go the distance, with de Ridder outworking Dolidze.
MarQuel Mederos vs. Mason Jones (Lightweight)
| Fighter | Point spread | Total rounds | Moneyline |
| MarQuel Mederos | +3.5 (-105) | O 2.5 (-188) | +235 |
| Mason Jones | -3.5 (-125) | U 2.5 (+145) | -290 |
Mederos vs. Jones prediction
Mederos lands 5.46 significant strikes per minute, landing 222 in two fights. He also averages 0.23 takedowns landed per 15 minutes. Jones lands 5.98 significant strikes and averages 3.48 takedowns landed. He landed eight takedowns against Jeremy Stephens, and over 100 strikes against Axel Sola. Since his return, Jones has been on a roll and looks to continue it. Both can hit hard, but who will have the edge?
Best bet
Jones has tightened up his defense and can land a mean punch. The Welsh fighter is a man possessed since being given a second chance, and his run shouldn’t end just yet. Expect a violent start to the fight, with Jones coming out on top.

Carli Judice vs. Jeisla Chaves (Women’s Flyweight)
| Fighter | Point spread | Total rounds | Moneyline |
| Carli Judice | -7.5 (-115) | O 2.5 (-154) | -575 |
| Jeisla Chaves | +7.5 (-115) | U 2.5 (+120) | +425 |

Chaves lands 4.97 significant strikes and averages 1.50 takedowns landed. A veteran in the octagon, Judice is known for taking damage, absorbing 6.62 significant strikes. Chaves is more willing to wrestle. Who has the edge in power? Who has the better conditioning?
Best bet
The answer to the last question is Judice, as Chaves struggled in her last fight. If Judice can punish Chaves early, the former should be able to walk her down and earn a knockout win.
Anthony Wint vs. Terrance Chatman (Heavyweight)
| Fighter | Point spread | Total rounds | Moneyline |
| Anthony Wint | -3.5 (-900) | O 1.5 (+250) | -1050 |
| Terrance Chatman | +3.5 (+475) | U 1.5 (-345) | +675 |
Wint vs. Chatman prediction
Wint landed 13 significant strikes in his UFC debut on Dana White’s Contender Series. He’s unbeaten after competing for Titan FC, Fury FC, and XFC. Chatman has won four fights via knockout. Wint comes into this fight with plenty of momentum and fanfare. It’s his skills that do the talking, and it will here.
Wint will come in and attempt to make an immediate impact. That could result in him making a mistake and Chatman taking advantage. However, his dangerous power should result in a quick knockout win.
