Following a preseason opener against a familiar foe for head coach Mike McCarthy, the Pittsburgh Steelers match up with Aaron Rodgers’ former team on Friday as the Steelers face the New York Jets. The news out of training camp is centered around D.K. Metcalf and Michael Pittman, Jr.’s undisclosed injuries, which McCarthy believes will keep them out of practice and the game.
With only two preseason games left, it would be nice for the duo to get in some work with Rodgers and the offense. Six days following the Jets matchup, Pittsburgh wraps up the preseason against the Bills. It will be interesting to see McCarthy’s plan for the starters and playing time.

Either way, Drew Allar and Will Howard will have all eyes on them again. Especially Allar, who has turned heads with his play so far.
