Michael Brennan needed to conjure some magic at last week’s Wyndham Championship, and he delivered.
The 24-year-old notched his second career PGA Tour win with a final-round 64 at Sedgefield Country Club to claim victory by three shots over Beau Hossler on Sunday, a performance that not only won Brennan the trophy, but also propelled him into the FedEx Cup Playoffs, which begin with this week’s FedEx St. Jude.
