Saturday’s NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Iowa Speedway, the HyVee Perks 250, marked the 23rd points race of the regular season. There’s now just one race left before The Chase and we’ve got more movement in the NASCAR OARS standings right now.
First, we’ll highlight one of the biggest movers among the O’Reilly Series Points leaders. After entering the weekend in third place, Jesse Love is dropping after the No. 2 car had gear issues and spun out then went to the garage early in Stage 1. Because of it, Sheldon Creed jumped ahead of him in the NASCAR OARS standings.

While that provided the only real movement at the top, an overtime wreck at the front of the field had massive ramifications on The Chase cutline for the likes of Brent Crews, William Sawalich, Taylor Gray and Rajah Caruth.
Ahead of the regular-season finale (Winn-Dixie 250 at Daytona on Aug. 28), let’s take a look at the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series points leaders today. You can find The Chase standings in the O’Reilly Series further below.

Here are the drivers below The Chase cutline in the O’Reilly Series who still are eligible to make it in with one race left. There are a maximum 76 points available to earn in a NASCAR race, so anyone below that point threshold is eliminated from The Chase contention. Six drivers will be competing for the last four spots.
