Steph Curry was golfing at Vineyard Golf Club in Edgartown, Massachusetts, with Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum also on the course.
The Celtics are rumored to be among the frontrunners of potentially interested teams in acquiring Curry if the 38-year-old wants to leave to win more, as the Warriors will not trade future assets for win-now stars.

Naturally, Curry’s presence on the same golf course as Tatum just days after the initial trade rumors started emerging is noteworthy.
Why were Stephen Curry and Jayson Tatum golfing on the same course?
Curry was part of former U.S. President Barack Obama’s 65th birthday celebration while Tatum was playing with his own group a few holes ahead.

Their presence on the same golf course, albeit in different games, has piqued the interest of fans. Even if they didn’t play together, they could’ve bumped into each other at the clubhouse.

With the Celtics currently behind teams like the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks, the franchise needs a winning jolt to help a post-Achilles injury-repair Tatum lead the franchise.
They let go of Jaylen Brown to simplify the team’s offense and shed long-term salary. They could arguably become better if they could trade their young players for someone like Steph, who averaged 26.6 points, 4.7 assists, and 3.6 rebounds last season.
It won’t be easy to get Curry to leave the Warriors after his 17-year stint with the franchise with four titles, but this might be the kind of move the Celtics need to maintain relevance in the East.
