The 2024 ATP Finals begins on Sunday, November 10, on the indoor hard courts of the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy, continuing an annual tradition in men’s tennis that started way back in 1970.
We now know that the all-time record-holder for singles championships at the season-ending event, Novak Djokovic, won’t be bidding to extend his haul from seven to eight titles after withdrawing due to injury.
But what exactly are the all-time stats for the tournament, and are we likely to see the Serbian’s record overtaken any time soon?

Will anyone win more ATP Finals titles than Djokovic?
The closest threat to Novak Djokovic’s all-time ATP Finals singles record, Roger Federer, retired in September of this year on a final tally of six to Djokovic’s seven.
Germany’s Alexander Zverev, currently ranked number two in the world, is the closest active player to overtake the Serbian but with two ATP Finals titles to his name so far, Zverev needs five more to match Djokovic.
And while Djokovic won’t be adding to his tally this year, the 37-year-old could potentially still do so before he retires. That not only makes the task for Zverev or anyone else potentially even tougher, but truly underscores the era of men’s tennis headed by the ‘Big Four’ of Djokovic, Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray as an all-timer.

Fleming and McEnroe are not only the joint record holders for most ATP Finals doubles titles but also for consecutive doubles titles, with all seven coming in succession from 1978 to 1984.
By virtue of that, they’re also the record-holding duo having won all seven in tandem with one another. The Bryan brothers, Mike and Bob, are second on that measure with four, while the former’s fifth title came alongside Jack Sock.
Much like with Djokovic on the singles side, the Fleming/McEnroe records are likely to stand for some time.
Who is competing at the ATP Tour Finals 2024?
Here are the eight men who will be battling it out in Turin this year:
Casper Ruud, Alex de Minaur and Andrey Rublev claimed the final three singles positions for the season finale, which will be played from10-17 November.
Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev and Taylor Fritz are the other competitors.
