UFC 329 will feature the return of one of the greatest stars in mixed martial arts history when Conor McGregor steps into the octagon for the first time in over five years against former BMF and featherweight champion Max Holloway.
The fight is a rematch of a bout between the two young budding stars nearly 13 years ago, when McGregor beat a badly injured Holloway who tore his ACL in the early rounds and was forced to utilize his ground game instead of striking.
McGregor understandably enters the fight as the underdog to a more active Holloway. In fact, Holloway has fought seven times since the last time McGregor fought against Poirier, winning five of those fights. However, with no-sweat bet promotions there could be some value in taking McGregor to win at plus odds. Given this is Holloway’s first time fighting in the much heavier 170 pound welterweight weight class. How will Holloway fare dealing with a heavier, likely more powerful McGregor?
The Sporting News has you covered with everything you need to know about the no-sweat bet promotions ahead of UFC 329 and what are the best bets to make with those sweat-free promos ahead of fight night. How no sweat bets work
No sweat bets are a sportsbook promotion that gives you a second chance if your first wager loses. Instead of losing your entire stake, the sportsbook refunds your wager in the form of Bonus Bets, which can be used on future wagers.
In order to use a no-sweat bet you must:
- Sign-up and opt-in: Create an account with the sportsbook of your choosing and claim the no-sweat bet offer. Some promotions require a promo code or opting in through the mobile app.
- Place your first bet: Make a qualifying wager for the required amount. If your bet wins you can keep your wager, but if your bet loses, the sportsbook will refund your stake in Bonus Bets usually within 24 to 72 hours. You may have to apply your bonus bets or tokens to the bet you’re making.

Best bets to make with no sweat bet offers
Best moneyline pick
This is a good bet to make with a no-sweat bet offer. Yes, Max Holloway has been the more active fighter of the two, but it will be Holloway’s first time fighting at welterweight. The former featherweight and BMF champion struggled the last time he moved up a weight class to fight Dustin Poirier for the interim lightweight championship at UFC 236 in 2019. The fight was a back-and-forth war which saw Poirier as the more powerful fight and Holloway batter and beaten for the first time in a while. Now, Holloway faces one of the fiercest strikers in the sport and has to outlast the initial burst of McGregor in the first two rounds of this bout. This is a bet that he wont be able to do it and it will end much like Holloway’s fight against Ilia Topuria nearly two years ago, by TKO.

Best over/under pick
Everyone is expecting this fight to end quickly. But what if it turns into a three-round war? No question this bout has “Fight of the Night” written all over it, but there’s a chance that both fighters are still standing once the final bell rings. McKinney has the advantage over Green given that he is younger, but Green’s unorthodox style and way of evading punches could mean he lasts past the second round. It’s about the best plus odds value bet you can make on this fight with any no-sweat bet promos you have.

Best parlay
- Max Holloway ML (-225)
- Benoit Saint-Denis ML (-148)
- Cory Sandhagen ML (-135)
- SGP odds: +321 at DraftKings
I like to parlay favorites and this one seems the most sensible. Pimblett likely won’t be able to stop BSD who seems to be on a mission to prove he’s worthy of a lightweight title shot after Arman Tsarukyan and possibly the winner of Holloway-McGregor 2 get their opportunities. This might be the last time we see Saint-Denis for a while if that happens, and he will be motivated to put on a show. The Sandhagen fight is the leg that has the most boom or bust potential. I’m betting on the experience of Sandhagen here, but it is very possible that Father Time catches up to him. And speaking of Father Time, Conor McGregor’s time as the UFC darling has long passed. The Blessed Express could very likely stop him in his tracks, but either way, it should be a fun fight. I’d take him to win by stoppage if its available as well.

Best SGP
- Max Holloway to win ML (3 Way)
- Over 3.5 rounds (-110)
- Max Holloway to win via KO/TKO/DQ (-125)
- SGP odds: +625 at DraftKings
If Holloway wins this fight, its very likely it will be in the later championship rounds and by TKO or KO. Conor McGregor isn’t known for being a cardio warrior and tends to fade past three rounds in every fight he has. The last McGregor fight to go to a decision was his second fight against Nate Diaz in 2016. So I don’t see things changing 10 years later. Let’s take Holloway to get it done in Round 4.

Best fighter prop
The early prelims is a peculiar spot for someone as distinguished as Cortez. She has seen a step up in competition and found some success against some contenders. Her loss to future women’s flyweight challenger Erin Blanchfield withstanding, Cortes has enough to take this one against a very game Wang Cong to the judges scorecard thus the heavy juice.
Best match prop
Whittaker’s light-heavyweight debut is overdue if you ask me. He should be able to beat Nikita Krylov and if he does, the fight will most likely go to decision. Except for his TKO victory over Ikram Aliskerov, Whittaker has went to decision in five of his past six wins. If he comes out with the victory on Saturday night, it will be by the judges and not a finish.
