This past week, I posted the 2026-2027 Miami Dolphins schedule HERE. I then asked the following question:
Which of the above 2026-2027 Miami Dolphins games are you most looking forward to and why?
Below are some of your thoughts and answers-

UpInPensacola had a couple of answers, including one questioning how the Kansas City Chiefs will fare in the late-September heat of South Florida.
You know, it could get interesting with the home opener, too. Doesn’t the color red absorb a lot of sunlight?
At Washington. In preseason, of all things. I’m really looking forward to that game to see where they really are at.
After the Week 6 Bye, I’ll be interested to see if they are beginning to show signs of cohesion as a team. Before that, I’m not sure about a win other than I do think they will defeat Cincinnati.
LisaB is just excited for the season to begin.
I’m a huge Dolphins fan. I believe that they will have a great season. I can’t wait for the season to start. Go Phins!!!
sdphinsfan chose the bookends of the season to measure the team’s progression and growth over 17 games.
Which one I’m looking forward to the most? The first game and the last game. Those two will answer alot of questions, about where we really are starting from to start the year, and then where we are going into the Offseason.
Alot of questions with this team. One thing that won’t be able to be questioned is whether this team was tested in 2026. The Raiders game is maybe even money, after that, the competition ramps up and keeps coming….
Cusefins said Da’ Bears!
Bears!! This game will set us up for 2027 season!!
phinette23 is curious to see how the new staff has the team looking right out of the gate.
I’m with those who point to the Raiders game. I have no idea how this team will perform. Obviously the Chargers game will be an interesting one on so many levels.
Phoenix6 is curious to see how things start out, how this team does at home, and how the new staff does against their old bosses.
All home games. At Raiders (1st game). At Packers.
StanleyDoyle1 believes that after 17 games, we will know who’s going to stick around from this year’s massive draft haul.
The last game of the season, as by that time we’ll learn who are the keepers from this draft.
PA phinphan just wants to see how the team handles adversity.
Personally, I am looking forward to the first game after adversity. Whether it’s getting their lunch handed to them by SF or any other team or an injury to an impact player or any other major negative experience, I want to see what the team is made of. How do they handle it? Do they wilt and fold? Or, fight like heck and move forward? Will Hafley get the guys to stick together through thick and thin?
I believe the Dolphins are going to be a team that never quits, doesn’t look back except to learn from mistakes, and forges ahead letting everyone they play know they were in a battle.
Phinsox wants to see what they have in game one, as well as the game they are attending in Denver.
Like Urthling, Game 1 in Las Vegas to see what kind of team we have. Also, Denver since I will be there. I was already scheduled to be in Denver that Friday so it seemed like fate when the schedule aligned. I’m not expecting many wins this season but I think there are going to be many one score games. Normally that is no consolation but given the changes I think it will be promising. This could be a quick turnaround. I’m thinking of the MLB White Sox, I feel the link.
Urthling is part of a trend wanting to see what we have from the start.
The first game of the Hafley/Sullivan regime at
OaklandLas Vegas.I’m looking forward to see what traits this team displays. The roster is full of hungry young(ish) players. Are they disciplined? Smart? Gritty?
Or do we see procedural penalties and poor body language?
I think we’ll learn a lot about this new coaching staff in Week 1.
Dolfanjoe wants to be the end-of-the-season spoilers.
Week 18 ! They will be moving that game to prime time. NE needs that game for the Div. title. Everyone remembers how we took the Bears down when they tried to go undefeated. They have to give us this prime time game don’t they ?
Those are our comments for this evening. It seems as if the majority wants to either see what we have right out of the gates or the progression through the season. I tend to lean towards the what’s their progression stance. I know there will be some struggles at the start of the season, but what can this staff do, coaching-wise, to grow from that point to what we are seeing at the end of the season? If you missed the original post, please share which games you are looking forward to and why in the comments section below. As always, thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in our Phinsider Question Of The Day.
