Two titles are on the line at UFC 330 on August 15 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena. The main event will mark the latest chapter in the Russia vs. Ireland rivalry as Islam Makhachev defends the UFC welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry.
Holding the record for most consecutive UFC lightweight title defenses, Makhachev (28-1) vacated the belt and beat Jack Della Maddalena in November to win the UFC welterweight title.
The Russian hasn’t lost a fight since 2016. He looks to continue his win streak by taking down his latest opponent with ease.
Machado Garry (17-1) lost against Shavkat Rakhmonov in a UFC welterweight title eliminator in 2024 but recovered by winning two straight. The confident Irishman believes he’s the man to end Makhachev’s reign and unbeaten streak.

The co-main event will see Mackenzie Dern defend the UFC strawweight title against Gillian Robertson.
A multi-time BJJ gold medalist, Dern (16-5) beat Virna Jandiroba for the strawweight title after Zhang Weili vacated the belt. It was thought the former champion would face Dern, who is on a three-fight win streak.
Robertson (17-8), ranked fourth in the strawweight rankings, is on a five-fight win streak. She has nine wins via submission to Dern’s eight.
