Over the weekend, some NASCAR fans expressed frustration with the TNT broadcast, as some believed that the analysts were underestimating the chances of Shane van Gisbergen winning, giving too much pre-race hype to Chase Briscoe.

Ultimately, SVG took home the checkered flag, while Briscoe came in a close second place. NASCAR fans accused the broadcast of misleading viewers with too much hype for Briscoe. However, Dale Jr. made it clear that he stood by his and others’ opinions. Dale Jr. is defending the broadcast.
Dale Jr. responded to the critical fans: “I enjoy a wide variety of takes, but not this one.”

NASCAR fans were quick to comment and dissect what was said.
“Just stop the road course for a bit. I thought the 19 was gaining and faster. You’d must have been texting and missed that. There were 2 more closing also, but like SVG said, there’s 10-15 guys who can beat him,” one said.
Another added: “People underestimate Briscoe every time and it’s laughable. Jr knows ball.”
“Calling out the 77 for spinning the 11. Bad take. Marty Smith called out the 77 post-show. 48 into the 6. Into the 77. Bk Said he didn’t care,” one fan added.
