Britain’s Alfie Davis was defeated by Alexander Shabliy via unanimous points decision in their PFL lightweight bout at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego on Saturday.
Davis was caught by a right at the end of the second round but, as Shabliy tried to follow up and finish the fight, was saved by the bell.

The 34-year-old wobbled back to his corner and, while he fought on in the whole of the third and final round, all three judges scored the fight 30-27 in favour of Shabliy.
The Russian improved his career record to 25 wins and four defeats, while Davis – who won the PFL’s lightweight tournament in August 2025 – suffered a seventh defeat in 28 professional fights.
