There were plenty of red numbers to be had in the first round of the 2026 Travelers Championship on Thursday at TPC River Highlights in Cromwell, Connecticut.
Eric Cole gobbled his fair share, scoring five birdies and an eagle on the par-5 13th hole to shoot a 7-under 63 and take first place after 18 holes. He was one shot better than six players, including Scottie Scheffler and Matt Fitzpatrick.
