The UFC Freedom 250 event is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated cards ever put together by Dana White — with the White House spectacle and a huge budget to build an outdoor cage on the lawn, a ton of eyes were on some notable fighters on Sunday night.
One of those fighters, Josh Hokit, took advantage of the stage he found himself on, first by taking down Derrick Lewis. But it was the moments after his win that Hokit drew more attention online.
In his post-fight interview, Hokit didn’t just give a chain directly to President Donald Trump — he then walked off the octagon after calling Michelle Obama “a man.”
Here’s a look at Hokit’s callout of Michelle Obama and strange post-fight interview on Sunday.

However, it was what Hokit said before leaving the stage that drew the most attention.
What did Josh Hokit say about Michelle Obama?
As his final statement before walking away from the interview, Hokit, out of the blue, said: “Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right America?”

Josh Hokit controversy
Sunday was certainly not the first time Hokit drew attention for his unique personality and interviews.
With the nickname “The Incredible Hoke,” Hoki — who spent two seasons on the 49ers’ practice squad in the NFL as a fullback after playing football at Fresno State — has built a character in the MMA world. Recently, his weigh-in for the Freedom 250 card went viral, as he appeared to throw up on himself and said “So what, maybe I was drinking last night.”
