On Monday (1), the Brazil national team departed for the United States to compete in the 2026 World Cup.

The 23 called-up players and Carlo Ancelotti’s coaching staff left the hotel in Barra da Tijuca, in the southwest zone of Rio de Janeiro, heading to Tom Jobim International Airport (Galeão), on Governador Island, early in the evening.

Marquinhos (PSG), Gabriel Magalhães, and Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal) played in the Champions League final last Saturday and will join the rest of the squad in the U.S.

Neymar, of course, was the most celebrated by fans and even by police officers who would escort the team along the way.

The Santos star even signed a Flamengo shirt handed to him by a Federal Highway Police officer.
